Some have said that this trend could be due to the fact that people visit the Apple store and therefore do not search for iTunes cards, but I highly doubt that this is the case. There are hundreds of things that I search for that I could buy down the street. It doesn’t mean that I do not still at least search for it and research it online! I think it simply reflects the fact that Kindle Fire sales boomed this year, and people were searching for a gift that complemented the device.
