According to “Crave,” the gadget blog over at CNet, the Kindle is still the best e-reader around, even with stiff competition. You can check out the reviews here.
Why did they pick the Kindle over the Nook, iPad, and others? According to the article, there are several reasons -
- The Kindle has an e-ink screen (although some others do as well), making it easier on the eyes compared to other LCD screens.
- The Kindle DX has the biggest screen compared to the other e-readers.
- The Kindle is cheaper than it’s closest alternative, the Nook.
- The Kindle has the most available books.
With the “price wars” between e-reader models, there has never been a better time to get a Kindle. At $139, Amazon is seeing some of its highest sales figures ever.
What do you think? Should there have been other factors for them to consider? Do you think the Kindle will stay on top? Let us know in the comments!
